Payne’s Dock has been a Block Island landmark for decades. Family run and owned for generations. Located at the south end of the Great Salt Pond in New Harbor, we are easy to get to and accessible for vessels up to 300’.

Block Island is located in the Block Island Sound very close to Newport, Long Island, Connecticut and is very easy to get in and out of. There are many fun things to do on Block Island: great beaches, bike riding, hiking and walks, boating and kayaking, or just enjoy a cocktail and a gorgeous sunset.

Mahogany Shoals is the bar that you’ve been practicing for. We feature live music every night. Come enjoy a cocktail and some great food from LobsterCraft Dockside Restaurant. Enjoy the view and casual atmosphere at one of our three bars including the second floor bar which has a view of the harbor that is second to none.

What Our Clients Say

Great place to dock your boat and enjoy Mahogany Shoals bar with live music. Outdoor bar was recently renovated making a great atmosphere. Breakfast on the dock is a plus.
